The book Prisoner B-3087 is about a young boy in the time period of WWII, he at the time is going to school and is studying for his bar mitzvah. Yanek Gruener is faced with the challenge of his school telling him he can't go because he is Jewish.
A historical account has to be accurate, the time period and setting both have to be authentic. When writing a historical fiction novel you have to do a lot of research including visiting the setting of the book and important places that were in the time period. Also you can add historical accounts to your book like one in my book was when Hitler invaded and took the innocent to concentration camps all through Poland. Its important to have a historical account in your novel so the readers knows that you have accurate imformation.
Historical fiction is an event that happened but the characters aren't real. When writing a historical fiction novel all the information is accurate except for your characters. In my novel Prisoner B-3087, Yanek is an ordinary boy who lives in Krakow,Poland with his parents, in this book the setting is real.
